From a jagged, sculptural megastructure in Devon to a flood-resistant house perched above an estuary in Essex, this season showcases bold design, brave self-builders, and the ultimate test of resilience.

We follow a family in Cambridgeshire as they build a burnt-wood Malaysian-style home to heal from grief, and a couple in West Sussex who create a hand-crafted triangular retreat while going through IVF. In South Lakeland, a young pair take on the massive challenge of transforming a ruined mill into a sleek, modern home, while near Chichester, an architect builds his dream house around a natural swimming pond—blending structure with nature.

With Kevin McCloud by their side, these visionaries push limits, defy the odds, and turn dreams into homes.
