Episode 01
On the outskirts of Johannesburg, smallholdings invite a slower, more considered pace of life. In a setting filled with the gentle presence of horses, we discover a home rooted in the timeless language of Cape Dutch gabled architecture. A style synonymous with the Cape Winelands. Recently renovated by Morris & Co, this family home has been thoughtfully reimagined to foster connection and togetherness, while a playful use of colour reflects the homeowner’s personal style in harmony with its classical bones.
We also meet interior designer Louise Ellis, who shares how she transformed a well-structured Stellenbosch home into a layered, character-filled space with warmth and intention.

Episode 02
Perched above the Atlantic Seaboard, the suburb of Bakoven offers a spectacular setting of sea views and secluded beaches. Kritzinger Architects have designed a sophisticated holiday home for international clients. This space reads as one, yet can function as two private households, each enjoying its own outlook and sense of retreat. The interiors, by German-based designer Anja Lehne, are brought to life through a muted palette and rich layering of texture, complementing the home’s natural abundance.
We also travel to Riebeek-Kasteel, where creative Sharon O’Callaghan Marais shares her approach to crafting a calm and minimalistic bedroom and bathroom space.
