The Gardener – Season 9
Everyone’s favourite gardener, Tanya Visser, returns to The Home Channel in mid-July for a new winter season of The Gardener. This season, Tanya visits gardens around country to pick up a host of practical ideas and tips to guide viewers to get the same results in their own gardens. She also visits the finalists in the PCC Creative Cement viewers’ competition of last season to see some of the fun and creative projects our viewers came up with.
Episode 8
Tanya takes us on a journey through her own garden. Then she shows us how to propagate plants and we reveal the winner of the PPC Creative Cement Competition.
Episode 7
The Namaqualand daisies are in full bloom! Tanya shares the magnificence and magic of these breathtaking flowers with you! Then it’s a quick lesson on how to sow seeds and another PPC creative cement competition finalist!
Episode 6
Tanya takes a drive to Richmond, KZN to meet with a lady whose passion for gardening led to her opening her own nursery. Then Tanya shows us how to pot a hanging basket and then she visits another finalist in the PPC Creative Cement Competition.
Episode 5
Tanya spends time with Keith Kirsten at a wine estate in Stellenbosch. Then Tanya and Anna Celliers show us how to add instant colour to our gardens and finally, we take a look at another PPC Creative Cement Competition finalist’s project.
Episode 4
Tanya spends time at Vergelegen where we show you a breathtakingly beautiful camellia garden. Then, Tanya and Garth show you how to plant your own camellia garden. Finally, be inspired by a pebble and mosaic cement patio project.
Episode 3
Tanya visits an indigenous grasslands garden in KZN and then shows us how to build stairs into a slope. Later in the show we meet another finalist in the PPC Creative Cement Competition – a pizza oven!
