Moving Houses returns with amazing homes in remarkable locations and a whole new set of challenges for house relocation companies. Host Clarke Gayford joins New Zealand families, couples, and adventurous individuals as their dream homes are transported to their ideal locations. Each one-hour episode follows a house relocation from the owners and the house’s history to the practicalities of planning and the inherent drama of the move culminating in the final reveal of the house on its new site.

Moving Houses shows that big dreams and bold ideas aren’t just for multi-million-dollar budgets. This season brings a whole new set of challenges and locations, from Hastings and the Marlborough Sounds to the very top of the North Island in Ahipara. Century-old villas and brand-new homes head all over the country, with movers slicing, dicing, barging, and lifting impossibly large houses with cranes to get them safely to their new locations.
