Chris, his driver, and right-hand man Erwan Fresq, and his community workshop crew have outfitted a mobile workshop van, equipped and ready to take on serious DIY emergencies. In this season, will be loading up their new ride and spending a whole lot of time out of the workshop. They’ll also be making a bigger difference than ever. In each episode, Chris will be meeting with a person, family, or organization with a compelling, emotional story of facing a seemingly unsolvable problem. It’s The Blind Builder’s job to find a life-changing solution.

He dreams of building one, but lacks the resources until Chris Judge and the community workshop crew step in to help.

Despite a tough year and job losses, Allison and Pelham stayed positive. After baking a cake for a friend, Allison discovered a talent and passion for custom cakes. Orders rolled in, and Pelham jumped in to help. They found joy and purpose in their new venture, but now need a kitchen renovation to turn their growing hobby into a full-fledged business.

LaMeia Reddick persuaded her mother to turn part of their North Preston home into a community space. It began in the basement—cleaned, made welcoming, and opened to local youth. They loved it. Blxck House was born, with the “x” symbolizing both “block” and “Black,” reflecting its place in the heart of an African Nova Scotian community. With few public services nearby—not even a library—Blxck House filled a vital need. LaMeia has expanded it outside and now aims to create a café-style yard with seating and platforms. Lacking construction skills, she’s bringing in help: builder Chris Judge, his team, and Denika Coakley, a female mentor who will teach LaMeia and the youth how to build.

After 50 years as a traveling musician, Cecil MacDougall has settled into a close-knit community and wants to give back through music. He just needs a space to perform so Chris Judge and his crew are building him the home concert venue of his dreams.

Charles Williams has always loved the wilderness, and now he’s sharing that passion as Program Director at The Deanery Project, a nonprofit focused on environment and community. With donated canoes, Charles dreams of launching ocean-based programs for youth but first, they need to transform the boathouse and build canoe storage to make it possible.

After retiring and moving closer to family, Linda McLaren missed her garden and friends. She found Common Roots, an urban farm, which became her second home. Now, to give back, Linda has teamed up with Chris Judge and the Main St. Community Workshop to build picnic tables and seating, hoping to bring more people together and help combat loneliness.
