Episode 13
We bring you the last of the Beechwood gardens – a delicious vegetable garden that is sure to knock your socks off. At the garden centre, Tanya finds other plants and herbs that will be a great addition for your vegetable garden. Back in then Tanya show you how to grow potatoes in a Laundry basket then transplanting them into the garden.
Episode 12
We bring you a beautiful formal Rose garden from Beechwood gardens and catch up with owner Christopher Greig. Tanya then heads off to the garden centre to find optional companion plants for roses before showing you how to start a small worm farm to give you nutrient rich compost
Episode 11
We bring you of one South Africa’s grandest gardens – The Beechwood gardens in Hyde Park, Johannesburg that was part of this year’s Gardens of the golden city celebration then we chat to the owner and designer Christopher Greig before checking some really great plants in this part of the garden. Later on- Tanya puts together a mixed herb planter for any size garden.

Tanya visits Keith Kirsten’s garden located on the banks of the Crocodile River and finds out more about the way it has been divided plus new flowers ranges that are sure to bring vibrant colour to any garden. Later on in the show, we get down to making a living Christmas tree as well as some very easy to do gift ideas.

Then she show a really cool idea for keeping children busy in the garden but recycling old tyres to create funky planters. Last but not least – she shows you the fool proof way of planting a Bougainvillea for success.

Tanya takes you through Theresa & Mark’s expansive suburban garden located in Parktown Johannesburg that is part of the “The Gardens of the Golden City 2013”, It has been garden divided into 3 distinct spaces; the front, garden, the vegetable garden as well as a traditionally rambling Highveld garden. Then she gets her hands dirty by creating a Teepee to grow bush beans before potting up some colorful summer blossoms

At the Garden World Spring festival, Tanya explores Sonita Young Asian inspired garden. She then uses Bromeliads to cover up an ugly pole as well showcase a different take on vertical gardening.
