Finest Homes – Season 6

From stunning architecture to exquisite interiors and breathtaking landscape design, each episode offers a glimpse into the latest trends and expert insights from local design connoisseurs.  

Finest Homes inspires viewers to transform their own living spaces by providing practical tips and creative ideas that reflect the beauty and diversity of South African design. 

Episode 13

This week’s episode of Finest Homes sees us visiting some of the stand-out designs of this season. From coastal properties to homes tucked in between the vineyards of Cape Town. A summary of the talent we have on South African soil. 

Episode 12

In this week’s episode of Finest Homes, we’re visiting a project by Lisa-Marie Theophilus, where her vision has transformed a small and dark Cape Town home into a bright, airy and beautifully layered abode. We also meet with interior designer Louise Ellis who shares a smaller project of hers, that shows that consistency is key in smaller spaces.

In this week’s episode of Finest Homes, we visit a GSquared project on Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard. Architect Renato Graca guides us through this layered home where modernism and nature seems to blend effortlessly. Landscaper Chris Maddams of Red Daffodil shares his take on the garden and his approach to it. We also join interior designer Anna Correia as she shares a recent project of hers.

In this week’s episode of Finest Homes, we’re visiting a beautiful home in the Cape Winelands, where interior designer Louise Ellis brought layers of comfort to her clients’ double storey home. Rudolph Jordaan of Apax Design shares an apartment from his portfolio in the lovely Tamboerskloof, Cape Town.

Set over two stands, it is a mammoth project, brought to life by architect Charles Pittaway of Kraft Architects and interior designer Anna Correia. We also speak to landscape designer Jan Blok who added considered green elements throughout the project. All round creative Tone Alexander shares moments from his own home with us.

In this week’s episode of Finest Homes, we visit a house in Johannesburg that was originally designed by Adrian Morris, and one that he had the pleasure of updating 15 years later. The interiors were crafted by the hand of designer Julia Day who played with layers and textures to make this a true family home. We also join Karen Steyn of The Home Studio as she continues the tour of a recent project of hers.
