By Kim Geyser
K Craft
Requirements
- A variety of refill inks or stamp pads
- An empty ice-cream punnett
- Handmade paper
- Stamps
Instructions
- Use stamp pad ink or ink refills to make a solution of water and ink (approx. 20:1) in a container wide and deep enough to dip your pages. We used an ice cream punnett.
- Dip your paper into the ink as far as possible.
- Remove and allow it to dry in between dipping into the different colours.
- Repeat the process by dipping a smaller length of paper into the solution. Allow it to dry. You can do this until you like the colour or shades on your paper.
- Once the paper is dry you can stamp over the inked pages using an archival quality Ink.

- Add additional colour by using an ink pad, lightly dab over the textured designs and allow it to dry.
- Decide where you would like to have the calendar and embellishments, then apply glue to the back of the embellishments and stick them onto the canvas.
Note: If you would like to give your ceramic pieces a more vintage look, you can use your ink pad or glimmer mist to change the colour slightly.
