Programme 1: Foxrock

Room to Improve starts with Margaret and Jodie Burke who plan to renovate the family home in Foxrock.

Programme 2: Clonakilty

Pádraig Whooley and Lorraine Dufficey spent €265 thousand on their remote cottage at Rossmore in West Cork, they knew that – while the hilltop location was ideal – the house was far from it.

Programme 3: Laytown

Dermot is in Laytown, co.Meath, with a budget of €60,000, Dermot’s worry “is even if you took away the shoddy workmanship you’d spend the 60k, this is a really difficult one…”

Programme 4: Dalkey

Dermot is in Dalkey, with a budget of €180,000, he must come up with an innovative design to match their exacting requirements within the confines of an incredibly tight site.

Programme 5: Clontarf

Dermot is in Clontarf, with Denise and Ben who desperately want a second bathroom for their family home, but their budget is limited.

Programme 6: Tullow, Co. Carlow

Dermot is in Tullow, with Tom and Lisa who want to renovate their 19th century farmhouse.

Programme 7: Dundalk

Yvonne and John live in a housing estate in Dundalk with their two children. Four years ago, they decided to buy their next-door neighbours house. The house has been unoccupied since they bought it. Going against the norm, they have decided to knock two houses into one.
