Red Hot Shot

Yield: 8 shots.


  • 16 whole cinnamon sucking candies
  • 2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon schnapps
  • 1/2 cup silver tequila
  • hot sauce


  1. Place 8 cinnamon disks in food processor and pulse until finely ground. Place cinnamon dust on small plate and stir in salt. Run lemon wedge around the edge of 8 shot glasses and dip them into the cinnamon salt mixture. 
  2. In a cocktail shaker filled 1/2 way up with ice, add cinnamon schnapps and tequila.  Shake well and pour into prepared shot glasses.  Top off with a dash of hot sauce and enjoy! Use cinnamon sucker as a chaser.
