Steps to build your outdoor unit

  1. Cabinet
    1. Attach top, bottom and sides to the backing board
    2. Insert shelves and divider
  2. Doors
    1. Cut out shape for the glass insert on top doors as well as bottom door
    2. Rout out recess for glass and backing board
    3. Rout edges of door with round over
    4. Rout inside cut out edges with Ogee bit
    5. Cut backing board to fit glass size
    6. Drill pot holes for the hinges
  3. Wine cabinet
    1. Attach top, bottom and sides to the backing board
    2. Insert wine rack compartments
    3. Cut out shape in shelves for wine glass stems to slide in
    4. Round over edges with router
    5. Insert wine glass shelves
    6. Sand all parts smooth and stain
    7. Once dry apply white paint and then wipe/sand off to reveal blue in place
    8. Attach doors to cabinet (top two with pot hinges, bottom door with piano hinge)
    9. Insert glass
    10. Cut picture to fit glass and insert with masonite backing to hold in place
    11. Insert glass in bottom door
    12. Attach chain with cup hooks to bottom door
    13. Insert mirrors to backing board
