Instructions

Tools

• Pex 220 Random orbital sander
• PSR 18 Cordless Drill
• PSR 10.8 Cordless Screw Driver
• Jig Saw
• Dremel Trio
• Dremel Multi Max all purpose machine
• PFS Spray gun

 Material list

• 5 ltr water based all purpose undercoat/primer
• 1 ltr water based pastel purple paint – must have a satin type sheen
• 2 ltr water based pastel pink paint – same type as purple paint.
• 1 ltr black board paint.
• 2 or 3mm supa wood (same as you got for the toy wagon)
• 200 mm x 200mm – 12 pieces.
• 6 mm ply wood
• Large frame for black board (we will take out glass and replace with a masonite board and paint it black)
• 3mm masonite cut to fit frame (same size as glass)
• Wood glue
• Masking tape – 20mm x two rolls
• 6mm wall plugs (small pack for hanging black board)
• 4 x 40mm chipboard screws
• Double sided tape to stick up letters – two rolls
• I will bring varnish for the letters
• New drop sheets – get two
• 1 non slip mat for the work bench

Steps

Bed

1. Sand bed frame down
2. Spray with primer
3. When dry Spray with paint

Head board and foot piece

1. Draw out template on head board
2. Cut out as per drawing
3. Repeat for foot piece
4. Round over edges and sand
5. Spray with primer
6. When dry spray with paint
7. Decorate as preferred

Letters

1. Draw out letters with templates
2. Cut out letters
3. Varnish/paint if required
4. Glue on to wall

Black board (if required and if time allows)- could be moved to next show as a workshop project

1. Paint wood with black board paint
2. Remove glass out of frame
3. Fit board where glass came out
4. Hang on the wall
