Grilled Calamari Tubes with Lemon Cream Sauce


  • Calamari Tubes
  • Origanum
  • Butter
  • Garlic (crushed)
  • Lemons
  • Cream
  • Beetroot Sprouts
  • Parsley
  • Fennel


  1. Clean the calamari tubes and season with salt, pepper and origanum
  2. In a hot frying pan, melt some butter with the crushed garlic
  3. Add the calamari tubes and grill for only a few minutes until opaque but still tender
  4. Add some freshly grated lemon zest and the juice of half  a lemon over the calamari
  5. Add enough fresh cream to coat the calamari and create a sauce
  6. Serve the calamari on a bed of baby sprouts with a slice of lemon
