Episode 1 – Weeknight Dinner in a Flash

In the first episode of our brand new local cooking show, Sharon Glass teaches you how to create a simple, tasty dinner in no time at all.

Starting with fragrant, mint marinated lamb chops and crispy smashed potatoes, she then creates a vibrant ribbon salad with a tasty herb dressing.

A simple dessert of poached peaches finishes off this meal.

Episode 2 – Working Mother’s Dinner in 30 Minutes

In this week’s episode, Sharon Glass has some great ideas to get dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes.

To start, a delicious pea and asparagus soup, followed by a wonderful recipe of zatar and lemon marinated chicken with roast butternut wedges. All this is accompanied by a fresh Greek salad with mint dressing and a bright layered fruit dessert to finish.

Episode 3 – Budget Meal

This week, Sharon cooks up a storm while sticking to the budget. 

She shows you a quick and easy recipe to create tasty, fresh pizzas without the fuss, using pita bread or wraps. These are topped with a crispy Caesar salad.

Next is a wonderfully fragrant chicken, ginger and chilly stir-fry with jasmine rice, and a fresh frozen yoghurt strawberry ice cream for dessert.

If low fat is your thing, don’t miss this episode of Food In A Flash as Sharon prepares a fresh, bright pasta dish using beautiful cherry tomatoes.

A herb-crumbed, baked fish dish is served up with fresh, roasted asparagus, and for dessert, a quick and easy mango brule with low fat yoghurt.

Episode 5 – Health Conscious Meal

Every cook wants the best for their family, so in this episode we focus on healthy, nutritious food.

Starting with a Japanese chicken, noodle and veg soup, Sharon also prepares some beautiful butternut and feta muffins.

The main event is a crispy baked fish dish with a zingy lemon and dill sauce accompanied by a green bean and sesame salad.

Episode 6 – Ladies Lunch

Sharon has some great ideas for a healthy, ladies’ lunch.

To start, she prepares a creamy, chilled tomato soup with mini health loaves.

A seared tuna salad will tantalise the taste buds next, before she offers up a beautifully vibrant duo of mango and litchi sorbets.

Join Sharon Glass as she demonstrates the basics of baking as she whips up a batch of beautiful red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing.

And for dessert, it’s a simple, grilled pineapple dish, topped with vanilla ice-cream and black pepper.
