Sweet Potato Wedges


  • 2 small sweet potatoes
  • Coarse salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Pinch chili powder
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Cut sweet potatoes in wedges.
  3. In a medium bowl, toss the wedges with salt and pepper, chili powder, ginger and olive oil.
  4. Transfer to baking sheet or roasting pan. Don’t let wedges overlap. Bake until golden brown and tender in the centre, turning occasionally, about 15 to 20 minutes.
