Steak Delmonico

Yield: 8 servings.


  • 8 Black Angus prime rib-eye steaks (each about 10 ounces)
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • Grilled peppers, for serving (optional)
  • 1 small bunch watercress, for garnish (optional)


  1. Brush grill well to clean. Preheat grill on high. Carefully wipe grill with vegetable oil.
  2. Season steaks with salt and pepper. Grill steaks about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, for medium rare. Alternatively, cook until preferred doneness. Serve steaks with grilled peppers and garnish with watercress.
