Baby Bok Choy Sesame Stir Fry

Yield: 8 servings.


  • 1 tbsp. grapeseed oil
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 2 tsp. grated ginger
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 12 heads baby bok choy, washed, stem trimmed, cut in half
  • 2 tbsp. tamari or soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp. black and white sesame seeds


  1. Wash bok choy, trim stems and cut in half.
  2. Heat grapeseed oil in a wok or large sauté pan until almost smoking. Add peppers, garlic and ginger. Stir-fry over high heat for 30 to 1 minute seconds.
  3. Add sesame oil and bok choy. Stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes to cook bok choy. Add chicken stock and tamari and continue to stir for another minute. Don’t over cook.
  4. Remove from heat, toss with sesame seeds and serve.
