Horseradish Mayonnaise
Easy, Moderate, Complex
Ingredients
- 1 cup good mayonnaise (250 ml)
- 5 inch piece of horseradish root – use about 4 big tablespoons, grated (25 g)
- The juice of ¼ lemon
- A dash of Tabasco or your favourite bottled hot sauce
- A pinch sea salt
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish (5 g)
Method
- Use a vegetable peeler or a knife to peel the surface skin off of the tuber.
- Using a microplane grater, grate up about 4 hefty tablespoons of the stuff.
- Add to your mayo and add remaining ingredients. Cover and let rest in the fridge until ready to use.
