
Children’s Desk
Kids projects are always fun as it allows you to play around with shapes and colours. In this week’s episode Peter and Annalien show you how to build a kids writing desk – with enough room to let your creativity go wild!

Palm router | Desk top – 300 x 400 mm – 1 piece |
Seat 250mm x 300mm – 1 piece | |
Front façade 115 mm x 750mm – 1 piece | |
Inside support 520 mm x 245mm – 1 piece | |
Clear varnish – 1 ltr | |
Wood primer spray can – 1 tin | |

Follow these steps
- Mark off where chair, table will sit
- Draw shape into the bottom and sides
- Mark out and drill pilot holes where front, back and insert will fit
- Cut out shape on the sides
- Cut out half lap joint for legs
- Cut out chair shape
- Cut out table shape
- Router edges
- Assemble sides foot and back piece
- Varnish sides
- Paint seat, table and insert
- Assemble all parts
