Overview

Britain’s Ugliest Rooms are transformed from grim to gorgeous by charismatic interior designer, Gordon Whistance, whose frank comments and abundant sense of humour are matched by his talent for creating eye-popping transformations.

Members of the public nominate their hideous rooms that are crying out for a makeover.  No room is too ugly and no project too hopeless as Gordon takes on the unsightliest rooms the UK has to offer. He discovers the homeowners dream and devises a plan for them, and then banishes them and sets to work. As he works Gordon lets us in on his trade secrets and shows ways to make features and accessories yourself. The homeowners return and are gobsmacked by the results.
